Eight week course starts Wednesday 12th April - 31st May 2023, 7:35pm-8:20pm, Epiphany Primary School, Muscliff, BH9 3PE. Booking confirmed upon payment in full. You will require your own choice of weight (e.g. dumbbell, kettlebell) and an exercise mat.

Sculpt & Burn was designed by me, to create a bespoke experience for Fitness Quest members. The class is limited to 12 people and our focus is firstly on exercising with great form and technique but secondly maximising sculpting our muscles and burning excess fat.

Sculpt & Burn incorporates elements of HIIT (high intensity interval training) and strength and conditioning to ensure an effective full body workout.

Pre Covid-19, I was able to bring along a variety of exercise equipment including slam balls, barbells, battle ropes etc and team participants up. Whilst we're not quite back to this style of training just yet, the benefits of Sculpt & Burn very much stay true to the above formulas.

At each class you can expect a thorough warm up, breaking down some technique required for the main section. The main section is a different challenge each week, sometimes timed circuits, sometimes a chipper (working through a set number of exercises) and sometimes a challenge to complete as many reps as possible within a set timeframe; either way you'll have a great session.

Sculpt & Burn varies each and every week, so your body never knows what to expect. This class has the potential to be the hardest class you've ever tried, however, it also has the flexibility for you to complete the weekly challenges at your own pace.

You can decide if you'd like to buddy up and get competitive or just keep chipping away at a slower tempo. It's also great because you choose which weights you'd like to bring along with you each week, if you're new to strength training a couple of light dumbbells (2-5kg's) or a light kettlebell (4-6kg) should be plenty.

I'll always offer easier and harder versions of the same exercise too, so it offers something to challenge everyone.

Worst case scenario is that we can also switch out an exercise for another, making this a great class for all abilities.

Please wear comfortable fitness clothing that does not restrict movements such as squats and lunges. Trainers are compulsory (no bare feet).

You will need to bring with you plenty of water and your choice of exercise equipment. Some examples are dumbbells, kettlebells, weighted balls, pump weights or a good old fashioned back pack. An exercise mat is also useful to bring with you.
