Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training regimes thats boxers participate in. We all know that boxers fitness levels are extremely high due to the type of training they do. Boxercise classes generally incorporate a warm up circuit, containing many of the exercises that boxers do but also the exercises that any one of us can do, these exercises include anything from skipping to punching with weights, to press ups to crunches, to squat thrusts to tricep dips - Basically toning every area of your body. After you have warmed up the session turns to the use of focus pads, concentrating on your punching techniques along with combo's and footwork. Boxercise is as hard as you want to make it, it's not a class where you stand waving your arms around to music, you actually hit the pads creating a resistance which means a harder workout. You can be male or female, looking for a class to lose weight, tone up, build muscle or get fit. You can hit the pads as hard as you want to creating your own workload and post workout muscle soreness! It's great for anyone of any fitness levels as you take it at your own pace, improving as the weeks go by. Certainly a challenge for anyone but a really fun way to exercise. Fitness Quest Boxercise offers a spin on the traditional classes, to find out you'll have to sign up to one of the courses, you will not be disappointed!

The Courses
Please note: The following course start dates are subject to change to ensure class numbers are sufficient. Unfortunately I now have to ask for payment in full at least one week prior to the course start date. The reason for this is many people book their place and then do not turn up on the night. If a handful of people do this, then the course is not financially viable but is too late for me to cancel as I have already booked the hall and many people have paid. Taking payment in advance would stop this happening and will ensure I know well in advance whether or not I should cancel the course, advertise to boost numbers or continue to run it. I apologise to all who are reliable payers and I hope you realise the importance of this change. This new policy applies to all new and returning members.
If you are new to the boxercise course, I will arrange to meet you before the course to exchange payment and I will also give you a receipt, your gloves and wraps and show you how to put them on so you are all set for the first session. If you have any doubts about my courses please call the venue in question.
